Hi Friend:

I hope your day is going well for you. I ran across some cool software that I think you'll be interested in and can help you hide folders and files on your computer. This can come in real handy when you have sensitive files that you want to keep private from prying eyes. Use Hide Those Folders software to keep private files from being viewed by children, employers, employees, and even hackers!

Hide Those Folders will hide your sensitive files and folders so that they can't be seen or accessed. Files stay hidden even if you turn on "View Hidden Files" Even links in your recent documents menu won't be able to find your hidden files or hidden folders.

The best part is that Hide Those Folders offers a FREE "Try Before You Buy" trial.

Profile Information

Relationship Status:
Married
About Me:
Miriam "Mimi" Jacobs is a fallible child of God, wife, mother, daughter, sister, nana and friend. She is a poet, author of seven books and CEO of Candalyse Publishing.

Mimi is making a tumultuous presence both in print and online.

But more importantly, her readers and fans love her, and her work. Much is to be appreciated; Jacobs is a master of several literary genres and the author of seven books including, Illuminations: Poetic Inspiration, Embracing Candace, My Name is Not Monkey Girl, Chocolate Kisses, and 25 Ways to make $125.00 or More After Dinner.

She is also penned How to Jump From a Ferris Wheel & Land on Your Feet, the first of a ten volume series. The book is a multi-author anthology with a theme of, "From tragedy, to triumph."

In March, 2007, Mimi launched her highly-acclaimed publishing company on a shoestring budget, and in a make-shift small office in her living room. The name was contrived as a tribute to her two granddaughters, Candace and Alyse. Her enthusiasm has helped her shape her branding and build a dynamic team around her including an editor, proofreader, illustrator, and full-time publicist. In just one month, Candalyse Publishing more than quintupled in size, and tripled its revenue.

Mimi is a life-time New Yorker and has the accent to prove it. She currently resides in the beautiful Catskills region with her husband, Charles, her granddaughter, Candace, and their pets.

How to Jump From a Ferris Wheel and Land on Your Feet
Ten Women Ten Chapters Ten Stories
Review by B. Price
"This culmination of stories written by women who have all overcome adversity to learn the meaning and method of transcendence is an uplifting read that brings encouragement and strength to anyone who turns its pages. I would recommend this book wholeheartedly to any woman in the process of battling oppression while trying to find her hidden truth and strength as well as to any man who seeks to understand what women face in their search for personal empowerment. This book is both socially and personally relevant to the journey we all take as individuals as we attempt to stretch the definition of all that we can be while simultaneously trying to find intimacy with those we love. Five stars to How to Jump From a Ferris Wheel and Land on Your Feet!!!"

My Name is NOT Monkey Girl
"My Name is Not Monkey Girl" serves as a tremendous resource for parents, teachers, grandparents, schools and libraries alike. It was written with the aim of teaching children the importance of unconditional kindness, patience, love, tolerance and compassion. And inspired after a child called Candace a monkey girl. At the time, Candace was approaching her to play.

Author Miriam Jacobs is on a mission. The seven-time author recently announced that she has set out to raise funds for facial reconstructive surgeries for her 8 year-old granddaughter, Candace. Along the way, she is promoting tolerance, education, and compassion for those who have Giant Congenital Nevus; a rare skin disorder that Candace was born with." ~ Fran Briggs

A Review by K. Doulin
This is a refreshing children's book full of, happy lively paintings, intimate family pictures, a good story line and information. Kids want to know how to interact with people who look different. They are not born with this knowledge and I am so glad to see a book like this. It gives parents a chance to read and discuss with their kids how to be an accepting, loving friend. It is told by the little person who has been shunned by her peers. Candace bravely tells us of her need for friendship. Her positive approach to her own trials will draw many friends to herself and teach many valuable lessons. My grandchildren love it and took it to school where it was a great hit with classmates.

Alice's ABC's
by Demetra Reid
A colorful and fun learning tool, ALICE's ABC's promises to delight the young while teaching the most basic fundamental: learning the ABC's!

A Review by M. Jacobs
Alice's ABC's, written by Demetra Reid, is a beautifully illustrated and well crafted children's book. There was no hesitation in the decision making process when asked by the author to publish this educational gem. What I love most about Alice's ABC's is the wonderful eager to learn character that Ms. Reid has created.

Illustrator Dena Deffenbaugh brought Alice to life with colorful and fun, action illustrations. The book is perfect for youngsters just beginning to read, as well as, for children who have mastered the English alphabet and are ready to conquer a simple storyline. As parents strive to choose interesting books that promote reading, Alice's ABC's will entertain and encourage children to develop a love for reading. My two elementary school age granddaughters enjoyed reading this book.

This is definitely a great addition to any library.
